On September 27, the employees of the branch No.2 of the Republican Children's Library together with the 2b graders of the school No. 265 named after M. Miryusifov, Khatai region, held an event called "Martyrs are immortal, the motherland is indivisible". First, the participants of the event commemorated the memory of the martyrs with a minute of silence. Opening the event with an introductory speech, the director of the school Gurbanova Yegane gave detailed and extensive information to the participants of the 44-day Patriotic War.
In his speech, he noted that in the twelfth century, Azerbaijanis were displaced from their historical lands, where they lived for thousands of years, and thousands of historical and cultural monuments and settlements belonging to our people were destroyed. The unprecedented Khojaly genocide committed against the people of Azerbaijan and the mass and merciless act of massacre committed elsewhere, the Armenian usurpers targeting the state independence and territorial integrity of our country, strained the patience of our people. Despite the desire of our state to resolve the issue peacefully by all means, the hated neighbors did not give up their intentions, and when they wanted peace in language, they did not put down their weapons in practice. Finally, in the 44-day Patriotic War, the heroic sons of Azerbaijan drove out the usurpers from our country at the cost of their lives and blood, and wrote a new history. And this is the glorious history of Victory written in the history of Azerbaijan. In the lobby of the school, the event participants got acquainted with the traditional book exhibition. Then the event participants visited the "Martyrs" alley and took commemorative photos.
