On August 30 - September 2, the 36th International Book Fair and the first Moscow International Children's Book Fair were held within the framework of the International Children's and Youth Book Forum of CIS countries and Georgia in Moscow, the capital of Russia. Both fairs were supported by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, the Russian Book Union and the Moscow government. The main purpose of the forum is to strengthen cultural-humanitarian relations between experts in the field of children's literature and reading, increase the efficiency and development of children's reading infrastructure, the role of libraries serving children, and exchange experience in implementing joint projects to encourage children to read. The children's book exhibition was planned for the first time according to the needs of the time. So that, 

First of all, the results of the XX International "Book Art" competition were concluded and the two-volume anthology was presented with its translation into all languages ​​of the CIS countries. Works of Azerbaijani writers were also included in the anthology

In addition, the participation of international experts, library and information workers, leading experts in the fields of publishing, polygraphy and book sales, young artists-illustrators and children's writers was ensured at the Forum.

Salim Babioglu, secretary of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, Islam Huseynov, senior adviser of the book industry department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zahira Dadashova, deputy director for scientific affairs of the Republican children's library named after F. Kocharli, young artist Narmin Abdullayeva and children's writer, professor Solmaz Amanova participated in the International Forum.

 At the forum, Zahira Dadashova delivered a report on "From the library to the future: innovations and problems". In his speech, he gave detailed information about the projects carried out by the Republican Children's Library named after F. Kocherli and its cooperation with international organizations. He also spoke about the importance of publishing children's literature and books, the active participation of the children's library in the public life of the country, the role of promoting our literature and culture, and our moral values. It was noted that the Republican Children's Library meets the needs of children for their moral and intellectual development, personal reading, and social adaptation of their free time in the information library service. 

In her presentation, children's author Solmaz Amanova gave detailed information about the books she authored and her work.

In her speech, the young artist Narmin Abdullayeva gave detailed information about her drawings for children's literature. She also noted that children's literature has always been highly valued thanks to the work of outstanding illustrators who created rare works of book culture.
