A book presentation was held at the Republican Children's Library
    11-06-2024 16:34:00

On June 11, 2024, a book presentation was held at the Republican Children's Library named after F. Kocharli, organized by the library in collaboration with the World Azerbaijani Congress. The event featured the presentation of the poetry book "Deceller" by Azerbaijani children's author Almaz Calilova (Almaz Xatun), who currently resides in Hungary. The presentation was attended by 4th-grade students from School No. 151.

In her speech, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, Zahira Dadashova, noted that in Almaz Xatun's book "Deceller," readers will discover the world of young children, their way of life, and their love and affection for adults, education, and nature. The characters of the "Deceller world" – the ornament-loving Susan, the playful Fizza, and the eager-to-learn Alakbar – each have their unique personalities that will captivate young readers. Additionally, the illustrations accompanying the poems make the book even more engaging and attractive.

At the end of the event, the students wished the author, who lives abroad, success in her future works and activities.
