Mammad Arif Dadashzada, a distinguished literary scholar, educator, and academician, is one of the creators of the history of Azerbaijani literature. His literary legacy is rich and diverse. He began his career by writing poetry and short stories, and from the late 1920s, he turned to literary criticism and literary studies, contributing consistently in this field.
He passed away in 1975 in Baku and was buried in the Alley of Honor.
