On March 11, a musical-fairy-tale play called Fairy tale garden with Nowruz" was presented at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater with the joint organization of the Firidun Bey Kocharli Republican Children's Library and the Baku Children and Youth Development Center No.3.
An exhibition of children's and teenagers' paintings and handicrafts related to "Spring" and "Nowruz" was shown in the foyer of the theater.
Students of Children's Home No.1, General Purpose Boarding School No.1 and No.2, SOS Children's Village, as well as students of Baku City Secondary Schools participated in the musical-fairy tale performance.
At the event, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Issues, Nasimi District Executive Power, Baku City Education Department, representatives of the Baku Book Center, Haji Guliyev Vice-President of the Cultural Center of World Azerbaijanis, Youth Aid Fund, Silent Communication PU employees, children's authors Sevinj Nurugizi and Solmaz Amanova participated as guests. Throughout the performance, the children presented interesting fairy tale compositions and dances related to Novruz, one of the most beautiful holidays of our nation, which contains national spiritual values. At the end of the event, Gunel Anargizi, the head of the Baku Book Center, and Haji Guliyev, the vice-president of the Culture Center of the World Azerbaijanis, made a speech and congratulated the participants, especially the children, on the occasion of the upcoming Nowruz holiday and thanked them for the interesting program of the event. The main goal of the event is to pass on national and moral values among children and teenagers to the next generation.
