The Information and Bibliography Department of the F. Kocharli Republic Children's Library has prepared a slideshow in honor of the 225th anniversary of the poet, novelist, historian, journalist, literary theorist, and publicist Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin, who laid the foundation of the 19th-century Russian realist movement. The slideshow was virtually presented to readers.
The presented slideshow includes information about the life and works of the dramatist, as well as descriptions and annotations of 24 books written by or about Pushkin. Pushkin gained fame during his lifetime as the greatest Russian poet and is considered the founder of modern Russian literary language.
