On May 24, 2024, an event dedicated to the 530th anniversary of the great poet M. Fuzuli was held at the second branch of the F. Kocharli Republic Children's Library, in collaboration with the 265th Secondary School.
During the event, a library staff member provided detailed information about the life and work of M. Fuzuli. Afterward, the students presented the allegorical masnavi "The Conversation of the Fruits" in the form of a composition.
In this work, Muhammad Fuzuli expressed his views on the social shortcomings of his time, illustrating in the debate between the fruits that boasting and pointing out others' flaws only serves to highlight one's own deficiencies. He emphasized that meaningless self-praise brings no benefit.
Although this work may seem like a simple piece written for children, its philosophical and moral message draws attention.
The purpose of the event was to promote national and spiritual values among schoolchildren, educate the younger generation about the rich literary and artistic heritage of the great poet, create conditions for the development of their creative and intellectual abilities, and uncover young talents.
