On August 27, 2024, an interactive educational event titled "Let's Protect Mother Nature!" dedicated to the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" held at the Republican Children's Library named after F. Kocharli. The event aimed to promote the effective organization of schoolchildren's summer holidays and the development of reading habits in children.

The Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the library, Zahira Dadashova, greeted the children attending the event and emphasized that the rich nature of our homeland is the wealth of our people. Therefore, protecting and preserving the homeland's nature, as well as caring for its flora and fauna, is the duty of every Azerbaijani citizen. She then read several stories from the book "Letter from Nature," including "Chewing Gum," "The Rescuer Lady," "Water is Life," and "Why Does the Sparrow Cry?" for the children.

During the event, the children shared their thoughts on the topic "Let's Protect Mother Nature!" and stated that our homeland and green nature are beautiful, and we must protect them by doing good deeds and standing guard over our environment.
