On June 14, 2024, an event was held at the Republican Children's Library named after F. Kocharli in observance of June 15 - National Salvation Day. The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republican of Azerbaijan. The students of School-Lyceum No. 70 participated in the event.

A library staff member provided the students with extensive information about National Salvation Day. She emphasized that June 15 is a historic day of salvation for the Azerbaijani people, and it was the leadership of National Leader Heydar Aliyev that made this day a reality. Heydar Aliyev played an exceptional role in preserving, strengthening, and developing Azerbaijan's independence. He has always relied on the people and has been a strong support for them. On June 15, Heydar Aliyev was elected Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of Azerbaijan. Despite significant risks, he courageously took on the mission of leading the people's salvation.

The staff member also pointed out that after Heydar Aliyev's return to power, the social, economic, and political development that took place in the country played a decisive role in strengthening the state, integrating Azerbaijan into the civilized world, and building a modern society that ensures the strategic interests of the people. Thus, this important historical day was engraved in the memory of the people as National Salvation Day and has been officially celebrated since 1997 by the decision of the parliament.

At the end of the event, the students watched a slideshow of "Ana Laylasi", a tribute to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev by Zahira Cabir.
