In connection with “June 12 - World Day Against Child Labor”, the Republican Children's Library F. Kocharli has compiled a bibliographic list of books and periodical materials on children's rights to raise awareness about the better understanding of children's rights in society and to promote educational activities. This list is now available for use by readers.
June 12 is World Day Against Child Labor, established by the International Labour Organization (ILO). The exploitation of child labor leads to children being deprived of education and negatively affects their physical and emotional development. Increasing awareness in this area, directing public attention to the issue, and ensuring collaboration among relevant organizations are crucial factors in addressing this problem. This day, first observed in 2002, aims to work toward the elimination of child labor.
