On May 13, 2024, the presentation ceremony of the book Great Azerbaijani, dedicated to the 101st anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at the Republican Children's Library named after F. Kocharli. The 5th-grade students of School No. 7 participated in the event.
First, the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and a one-minute silence was observed in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the brave sons who gave their lives for Azerbaijan's sovereignty. Following this, the students were shown a slideshow titled “Mother’s Lullaby.”
The stories in the book are based on real historical events and are dedicated to the life of Heydar Aliyev, a person who devoted his life to his beloved people, their independence, and statehood, and whose legacy was elevated by the love and affection of the people. The main goal of publishing Great Azerbaijani is to present the childhood of the National Leader as an example to young readers, highlighting his high moral qualities as the protector of our national and spiritual values. It aims to introduce the young generation to the life path and elevated moral qualities of the Great Leader. This will help prepare the children to become worthy citizens of the country.
Based on the personality, ideas, life path, and legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the students’ worldview is enriched, and their sense of patriotism and humanity is strengthened. They are inspired to fight for the eternal survival of good examples and noble ideas.
