On May 7, the presentation ceremony of the book "In the Light of the Great Leader" dedicated to the national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Republican Children's Library named after F. Kocharli.
Talented student, poet-publicist Sevindik Nasiboghlu's book "In the Light of the Great Leader" talks about the life path of the National leader who had exceptional services in the destiny of the Azerbaijani people, and his struggles for the sake of the Motherland.
At the event, the doctor of philological sciences pr. Asif Rustamli, poet, publicist Ali Rza Khalafli, editor-in-chief Nazakat Mammadova of "Memory Book" editorial office, teaching staff of the school where Sevindik Nasiboghlu studied, members of the association of UGIM No. 1 and other guests took part.
First, the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty of Azerbaijan were commemorated with a minute's silence.
The director of the library, Honored cultural worker Shahla Gambarova, who opened the event with an introduction, said in her speech that the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is a great historical figure, a powerful and wise statesman, who brought his country to real independence. The people of Azerbaijan entered the new century precisely in the light of Heydar Aliyev's brilliant intelligence. Today's independent Azerbaijan is the masterpiece of the Great Leader. It is the civic duty of every young person and every Azerbaijani to preserve our independent Azerbaijan. In this regard, it is important to promote Heydar Aliyev's legacy and pass it on to future generations.
In his speech, Prof. Asif Rustamli noted the infinite love of the young author of the book "In the Light of the Great Leader", which was presented today. He also noted that Sevindik is a young man distinguished by his rich outlook, patriotism, intelligence, and ability. He spoke about the importance of holding the book presentation of the young author at the Republican Children's Library and said that such events support talented teenagers. He expressed his confidence that, thanks to such talented young people, Azerbaijani literature, poetry, culture, and art will further develop in the future.
Other guests speaking at the event emphasized the importance of organizing such events in discovering talented children and teenagers, as well as in fostering a sense of military-patriotic spirit among students. They also highlighted that the youth policy implemented in the country today, along with the attention and care given to young people, is aimed at raising worthy citizens and a healthy generation for the country, which is one of the main priorities of state policy. Schoolchildren addressed questions to the young writer.
The 15-year-old young author, after answering all the questions enthusiastically, gave his book as a gift to the student who submitted the most interesting question.
