From May 16 to 25, 2024, the Russian State Library, the Eurasian Library Assembly, and the Federal Agency of the Commonwealth of Independent States organized the next XXVIII conference of the project titled "Educational Cooperation of Union Libraries", under the theme “New Generation”. The conference was held in Moscow and Kazan, with the participation of 1500 young specialists from libraries of the CIS and other foreign countries.

Throughout the week, over 1500 young specialists worked at the Russian National Library, discussing ideas, analyzing problems, and developing solutions.

A delegation from the Russian State Library selected around 50 young librarians as leading industry experts, chairs, and members of permanent commissions.

Laman Muxtarova, an employee of the Republican Children's Library named after Firidun bey Kocharli, presented a report titled “Step into Life with a Book”. In her presentation, she highlighted the library's recent projects, particularly the “Barpanashr” project, which involved publishing books for children with health limitations, translating them into sign language and Braille, and providing them to readers. She also discussed the “Children's Book Caravan” project, which has been running since 2011, and emphasized the library's active participation in the country’s cultural and social life.

At the closing session of the event, decisions were made regarding future collaboration in the field of cultural heritage formation and development.

At the end of the event, certificates were presented. Laman Muxtarova was recognized as the “Best Speaker” among the participants for her extensive and detailed presentation.
