On June 1st, the Republican Children's Library participated in the Children's Festival held at the Heydar Aliyev Center Park on International Children's Protection Day. The festival, organized as part of the events dedicated to the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World," transformed the Center's park into a mini children's city. The park was divided into various zones with different themes and entertainment types. Children were presented with a wide range of interesting and educational activities, providing them the opportunity to spend their free time productively and showcase their talents.
As part of the program jointly organized by the Republican Children's Library and the Baku Book Center, there were meetings with renowned children's authors, a "Reading Hour" for children, and masterclasses. During the event, writers Chinare Kocharli, Mehriban Naghiyeva, Eyyub Turkay, Gulizar İbrahimova, and Solmaz Amanova met with their readers and presented their books as gifts to children. Additionally, there was a painting competition, and a masterclass on "Planting and Proper Care of Potted Plants," presented by the @gardenshopaz flower shop.
In our country, every effort is made to create the best conditions for children to grow up healthy, well-rounded, and as worthy citizens of the nation. Naturally, children's rights are a fundamental and inseparable part of human rights. Children are our future, and the future of the country lies in their hands.
Just like in most countries around the world, this day is celebrated annually in Azerbaijan as well.
