On August 19, 2025, a master class for children in need of special care was organized by the F. Kocharli Republican Children's Library and with the support of the Social Services Agency. Children with disabilities involved in the social rehabilitation program at the Sabunchu Social Services Center participated in the creative workshop.
During the master class, children spent a productive time by being involved in the process of painting clay figures. Library staff informed the children about the techniques for making figures and the rules for painting, and supported them at every stage of the creative process.
The main goal of the master class is to encourage children with special needs to engage in creative activities, form their aesthetic tastes, and serve as a means of effectively organizing their free time.
At the end, the animated films “The Snail’s House” and “Alphabet” were shown to educate children. The animations enabled children to gain new knowledge and become educated.
It should be noted that such creative activities, regularly organized by the Republican Children’s Library, contribute to the integration of children with disabilities into society, their emotional and social development, as well as their involvement in the cultural environment.
