On July 9, 2025, Republic Children’s Library named F. Kocharli after hosted a meeting organized within the framework of the “Veterans Guarding Ideological Security” project. The meeting was attended by participants from the First and Second Karabakh Wars, the project’s leader, and library staff.
The project’s leader, Bedirkhan Ahmadov a veteran of the First Karabakh War who served as a journalist in frontline hotspots spoke about the goals and significance of the project. He emphasized that the primary aim of this initiative is to convey the historical victory achieved in the Second Karabakh War to the younger generation and to introduce the heroic fighters of that conflict to them.
During the event, attendees were given detailed information about the project’s scope, the meetings conducted so far, and plans for the future. It was also announced that a new publication titled “Songs of Homeland and Victory” will be released under the project. This volume will compile military marches that were performed during both the First and Second Karabakh Wars.
The event proceeded with mutual exchange of views and discussions. At the end, it was decided that educational events on this topic will be organized for schoolchildren during the upcoming academic year.
