An informative video slide entitled “Children and Teenagers in the Digital Age: Harmful Habits and Possible Solutions” was presented to readers in a virtual format by the Information and Bibliography Department of the Republican Children's Library named after F. Kocharli.
The rapid integration of digital technologies into daily life, especially the growing technological dependence among children and teenagers, is creating new challenges such as increased demand for information and a tendency toward social media. A video slide was prepared in response to these challenges, with the aim of supporting the healthy development of the younger generation.
The slide is not only informative but also resource-oriented. Annotations of thirteen books related to this topic, as well as bibliographic descriptions of informative articles published in periodicals, were presented here. The purpose of these materials is to assist children, parents, and teachers in becoming better informed on this topic.
The main purpose is to enhance the social and psychological well-being of children and teenagers, to inform them about the risks of the modern technological environment, and to provide educational support in the fight against harmful habits.
The Children’s Library named after F. Kocharli continues its educational efforts aimed at shaping young readers into healthy-minded, balanced and informed individuals.
