The F. Kocharli Republican Children's Library has prepared electronic resources on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding representative of Azerbaijani poetry, People's Poet Fikret Goja and presented them to virtual readers.
The methodological manual "Our Old Man, Our Poet with Loud Words - Fikret Goja", compiled by the Scientific and Methodological Department of the Library, is a rich source for the use of mass readers. The manual consists of two parts. The first part presents the poet's life and work, the official decree on the anniversary, and the opinions of prominent personalities about him. The second part reflects methodological recommendations on events to be organized in libraries. At the end of the manual, a list of 21 books and 107 periodicals on the topic is provided.
The webliography titled “Wisdom in His Name, Eternity in His Words” prepared by the Information and Bibliography Department includes information on the poet’s literary heritage and activities, as well as songs composed to his poems, photo and video materials. The electronic resource includes bibliographic descriptions and full texts of 18 books and 108 periodicals.
The main goal of preparing both electronic resources is to systematically present the rich creative heritage of Fikrat Koca to readers and to instill the national and spiritual values reflected in his poetry in the younger generation.
